Good Night, People. Good Night, Super Moon…

Don’t forget about the Super Moon.

It’s the closest the moon has been in what…18 years?  About 350,000 km out.

Pretty cool, right?  It’s called “maximal perigee.”

Apparently it won’t change things much — no huge cataclysms or anything, just an interesting astronomical fact.

And, really, is there anything wrong with a random factoid?

Just thought I’d mention it in case you were wondering.

When I first heard about it, I figured it had something to do with a bunch of people pulling their pants down in jest.

Super moon, get it?

No, I didn’t really think that.
