Ah, the day after Christmas.
Isn’t it great? The stores are open again. Restaurants are open again.
And the Christmas commercials are…still on.
Yup. That’s right. Still on. From the clever to the annoying, they continue. I guess it’s because the companies paid so much for them they figure they’ll get some mileage. Budweiser had it right with the Clydesdales — come up with a motif that really nails the spirit of the season and then just recycle the same commercials season after season.
Oh, well. Soon it will be New Years and those commercial will start.
I suspect it’ll all end next December…when it will start again.
